AIDA UAE National Freediving Open Championship 2024
AIDA UAE National Freediving Open Championship 2024 is a part of Apnea Pirates AIDA Cup, organized by Freediving UAE under the recognition of AIDA UAE and Dubai Sports Council.
AIDA UAE National Freediving Open Championship 2024 and will have it’s own Award Ceremony and Medals.
Athletes are allowed to participate in one or more disciplines as per the schedule below.

Saturday 16.11.2024 @ Hamdan Sports Complex
- Static apnea (STA)
- Dynamic apnea without fins (DNF)
- It is as a 25-meter indoor pool;
- There will be two competition zones (Static – depth 1.3 m ) and (DNF – depth 3 m ); water temperature 26 degrees.

Sunday 17.11.2024 @ Hamdan Sports Complex
- Dynamic apnea with fins (DYN/DYNB)
- It is as a 25-meter indoor pool; depth 3 m; water temperature 26 degrees.

Saturday 23.11.2024 @ Deep Dive Dubai
- Constant weight with and / or without fins (CWT/CWTB/CNF)
- Free immersion (FIM)
- Max depth 58m; Water temperature 29-30 degrees. There will be one competition line and 2 warm up lines (17m and 30m) with adequate safeties.

Sunday 24.11.2024 @ Deep Dive Dubai
- Constant weight with and / or without fins (CWT/CWTB/CNF)
- Free immersion (FIM)
- Max depth 58m; Water temperature 29-30 degrees. There will be one competition line and 2 warm up lines (17m and 30m) with adequate safeties.

Note:
- Athletes are allowed to compete in two disciplines per day. One start per discipline in entire competition

Registration
In order to attend the competition all athletes should:
- Book relevant day of competition and make payment of AED 300 per day (AED 200 for Apnea Pirates Members). Each day of the competition should be booked separately, as per the links provided above.
- Register for AIDA UAE National Freediving Open Championship 2024 on AIDA International website.
- Be 18 years of age or older, or 16 years of age or older with written parental consent.
- Be member of the AIDA National corresponding to his / her citizenship (passport) if this National exists (if not, athletes may register in AIDA UAE).
- Be in possession of a signed "medical certificate of non contraindications to freediving", written in English. The medical certificate cannot be older than one year. It can be in any form, but must be signed by a medical doctor and include contact information.
- Sign Lability Release and Assumption of Risk. I can be signed on the day.
- For AIDA depth disciplines each athlete must fill-in and sign the AIDA competition form, it is the athlete's responsibility to fill in this form according the truth.
