Course Breakdown
1️⃣ Advanced Theory & Equalization
- Advanced freediving physics, physiology, and pressure adaptation.
- Breathing, relaxation, mental preparation, and training principles.
- Advanced Frenzel equalization and freefall techniques.
- Risk management, safety, and rescue procedures.
2️⃣ Breath-Hold & Pool Training — 2 Sessions
- Static Apnea (STA): Develop breath-hold performance and relaxation.
- Dynamic Apnea (DYN): Improve underwater swimming efficiency, with and without fins as required by the selected agency.
- Practice training tables, buddy procedures, and rescue skills.
3️⃣ Depth Training at Deep Dive Dubai — 4 Sessions
- Technique: Improve Free Immersion (FIM), Constant Weight (CWT), and buoyancy control.
- Freefall & Equalization: Develop relaxed, efficient descents and reliable pressure equalization.
- Safety & Rescue: Practice deep buddying, rescue techniques, and controlled ascents.
- Depth Progression: Work toward the depth and skill requirements of your selected certification.
All training is progressive, with depth limits and practical assessments adapted to individual abilities and the selected agency’s standards.

Both options develop advanced freediving skills, with different curriculum and assessment requirements.
AIDA 3 – Advanced Freediver
Focuses on advanced recreational freediving, freefall, equalization, training methods, and safety skills.
Molchanovs Wave 2 – Advanced Freediver
Develops advanced depth and pool performance, including no-fins techniques, freefall, equalization, and structured freediving training.
Your instructor will follow the requirements of your selected agency. Certification is awarded upon successful completion of all applicable assessments.
Who Can Join?
✔ Certified AIDA 2, Molchanovs Wave 1, or equivalent-level freedivers (subject to crossover requirements).
✔ Participants aged 18+, or 16+ with parental consent.
✔ Freedivers medically fit for advanced training and comfortable with beginner-level freediving skills.

📆 Course Structure: 4 depth sessions, 2 pool sessions, plus theory and dry training.

Important: Freediving UAE reserves the right to conduct theory, dry training, and pool sessions at other suitable facilities in Dubai. These components are not guaranteed to take place at Deep Dive Dubai.

What if I cannot complete the certification requirements?
Additional training can be arranged as needed. Certification is issued only after successfully completing the applicable requirements. Additional sessions may involve extra charges.
