1️⃣ Master Theory & Advanced Equalization

• Advanced freediving physiology, pressure effects, lung compression, and diving safety.
• Mouthfill equalization, advanced air management, and FRC diving techniques.
• Breathing, relaxation, flexibility, and mental preparation for deeper dives.
• Training methodologies, dive planning, equipment preparation, and safety management.

2️⃣ Breath-Hold & Pool Training — 2 Sessions

• Static Apnea (STA): Develop relaxation and controlled breath-hold performance.
• Dynamic Apnea (DYN): Refine swimming efficiency, streamlining, and no-fins techniques.
• Advanced buddy coaching, safety supervision, rescue procedures, and training exercises.

Performance requirements depend on your selected certification.

3️⃣ Depth Training at Deep Dive Dubai — 4 Sessions

• Advanced Equalization: Develop mouthfill technique, FRC diving, and efficient air management.
• Depth Technique: Refine Constant Weight (CWT), Free Immersion (FIM), freefall, and diving efficiency.
• Safety & Rescue: Practice advanced buddying, self-rescue, rescue from depth, and emergency response.

Depth progression is individualized, and all practical activities remain subject to instructor approval, safety procedures, facility regulations, and agency standards.

AIDA 4 – Master Freediver

The highest recreational certification level within the AIDA education system, focused on deep freediving techniques, mouthfill equalization, advanced safety, and preparation for supervised assistant-instructor responsibilities.

Key performance requirements include:

• Static Apnea: 3 minutes 30 seconds.
• Dynamic Apnea: 70 metres.
• Constant Weight: minimum 32 metres (course maximum 38 metres).
• Advanced safety, rescue, and theoretical assessments.

Molchanovs Wave 3 – Master Freediver

A comprehensive master-level course emphasizing advanced equalization, depth performance, efficient technique, and structured freediving training.

Key performance requirements include:

• Static Apnea: 3 minutes 30 seconds.
• Dynamic with Bifins: 75 metres.
• Dynamic No Fins: 50 metres.
• Constant Weight and Free Immersion: 34–40 metres.
• Advanced safety, rescue, and theoretical assessments.

Both certifications require successful completion of all applicable practical, theoretical, and safety requirements.

Who Can Join?

✔ Certified AIDA 3, Molchanovs Wave 2, or equivalent-level freedivers, subject to the required crossover evaluation.

✔ Participants aged 18 or older.

✔ Freedivers with a valid First Aid and CPR certification issued within the previous two years.

✔ Experienced freedivers medically fit for advanced depth training and comfortable with advanced-level freediving skills.

Course Duration & Scheduling

📍 Depth Training: Deep Dive Dubai.

📆 Course Structure: 4 planned depth sessions, 2 pool sessions, plus theory and dry training.

🕖 Schedule: Flexible scheduling arranged in advance, subject to instructor and facility availability.

Important: theory, dry training and pool sessions will be done at alternative suitable facilities in Dubai. These components are not guaranteed to take place at Deep Dive Dubai.

Four depth-training sessions are planned at Deep Dive Dubai. Theory, dry skills, and pool training will take place at other facilities in Dubai.

💬 What if I cannot complete the certification requirements?

Your instructor will recommend additional training. Certification is awarded only after completing all required assessments and formalities. Additional sessions may involve extra charges.
