Meet Your Instructor: Florian Dagoury

Florian Dagoury, a Freediving Instructor Trainer from France, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our CO2 Tolerance Workshop. Over the past 10 years, Florian and his team have trained over 7,000 students and certified more than 300 freediving instructors, coaching numerous champions along the way. In the early years of his career, Florian focused on deep freediving, achieving an impressive depth of 90 meters in a single breath. As his passion for freediving grew, he developed a particular interest in static apnea, making it his specialty. Florian now holds the World #1 STA performance, with an astonishing breath-hold of 10:30 minutes, judged by AIDA in Thailand (2021) and Korea (2023). With Florian’s guidance, you’ll gain insights from one of the best in the world, helping you push your limits and enhance your freediving abilities.

How CO2 Tolerance Workshop Works

This CO2 Tolerance Workshop is a hybrid workshop combines an online Master Class with possibility of guided in-water practice sessions. The event includes two group Zoom calls with Florian Dagoury, each lasting 2 hours and optional pool training sessions guided by Freediving UAE instructors.

The first call, scheduled for Friday 23rd of August 7 PM – 9 PM, covers the essential theory and exercises.

The second call is on Friday 30th of August 7 PM – 9 PM is dedicated to provide feedback and answer questions.

Throughout the week between calls, Freediving UAE will conduct optional pool training sessions, allowing participants to practice exercises with a buddy in a safe environment under the guidance of an instructor. These in-water sessions are available as part of Freediving UAE’s regular training schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays and paid separately. Additional sessions could be organized.

The cost of the online workshop is AED 300 per person, with a discounted rate of AED 250 for Apnea Pirates members.
