Alemanni Carbon fins Deep Sea realization was possible thanks to highest quality and unique materials. Combined with advanced production technology and covered by two patents. It took two years of materials and in water tests to create premium range product. Alemanni Carbon fins Deep Sea composed of T700 and T800 carbon and an aramid fiber (Carbo-Kevlar) woven inside. This helps to overcome the problem of complete break of the fin’s blade and consequent loss. Majority of other fin manufacturers use a twill carbon, the most common, cheap and easy to find carbon on the market. Twill refers to the type of weave used in the production of carbon fiber fabrics. Twill is a type of weave that produces a “V” or diagonal pattern. It’s fibers are of lower quality than the T700 and T800. This results in less strength and flexibility.
Shape
Alemanni Carbon fins Deep Sea was designed with profiles of different widths along the edges, creating a narrower end which reduces the water swirls (vortexes) and drag as a result. It favors water discharge which guarantee greater stability and better flow.
One of the patents concerns blade asymmetry. Each blade fits certain foot and not interchangeable. The inside of the fin is straight while the outside is wider. However, all blades are compatible with majority of other foot-pockets or even custom build foot-pockets.
Length variations
There are 3 length variations: Speedy Deep Sea, Deep Sea Hybrid and Deep Sea 50. All three come with different stiffness to guarantee maximum comfort. However we always suggest to choose softer blades. We are confident that you will feel comfortable from the very first use.
