Trainings are fun yet technical and well supervised. You can improve very fast thanks to Yuriy's knowledge, the regular trainings, and the group of more experienced divers who are supportive and generous in sharing advice. I trained both in the pool and at sea to get certified. Every training felt like I learnt a lot and improved both my technique and love for the practice.

Beyond that, the sense of community Yuriy has created is truly magical: I felt like I was part of a family within a few minutes of meeting everyone. The Pirates group will welcome you with open arms and make you laugh above and under the sea (recommended to take your snorkel off first)!

I have done AIDA2 course with him and what really struck me is how he works with each person at their own pace to get them to the milestones needed to be certified for that level. Once you have completed a course with him, you truly feel able, comfortable, and confident to do the dive.

  I got my first Freediving certificate back in 2016 and met the Freediving UAE team back in 2018 during the Freedive Expo in Dubai for the first time.
Since then... read more I am training and diving with Freediving UAE on a regular base! Professional and fun trainings with people who care a lot about safety - these important components make the whole experience truly enjoyable. It's a very nice community - experienced deep divers, beginners - everyone is enjoying the time in the water and is supporting each other. And this group which is still growing!
